Loopt Joins Sports Leaders from Latin America at the Acting Green Forum

The Loopt Foundation joined leaders from the Latin American sports world at the Acting Green Forum on November 28th to discuss how sports is bringing the climate change fight to Latin America.

This 2nd annual event was hosted virtually from Colombia with attendees representing regional Olympic Committees, professional sports teams, amateur sports, facility operators, and others from across Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Loopt presentation focused on the relationship between textiles and sport, the social and environmental impacts of textiles, the rapidly expanding textile manufacturing industry in Latin America (nearshoring), and how the power of sport can transform the industry while protecting local resources, community, and culture.
