Climate Fairs 2026

For the fourth consecutive year, Loopt was honored to join a group of dynamic community partners to educate Portland middle school students about how they can reduce their carbon footprint at the 2026 Vision 2030 Climate Fairs.

Held at Beaumont, Harrison Park, Ockley Green, and Sellwood Middle Schools, these Fairs were a fun, hands-on event with activities for students to learn more about our region’s climate goals, solutions, job opportunities, and to inspire student-led projects on climate change.

Over 1,900 students directly engaged with community led initiatives that advance climate solutions from Energy Trust of Oregon, Future Climate Collective, Metro Waste Prevention and Environmental Services, Pathways 2050, Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability, Portland General Electric, Portland Parks and Recreation, Portland Public Schools, Repair PDX, and Vestas.

Loopt focused on extending the life of clothing, reducing textile waste, and textile circularity.
